1. Information We Collect
When you sign in with Google, we receive and store your name, email address, and profile picture. We do not access your contacts, posts, or any other social media data.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to create and manage your PedalLab account, associate purchases with your account, and communicate with you about your account or purchases. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Audio Data
All audio processing occurs entirely in your browser using the Web Audio API. No audio data is sent to our servers. Your circuit modifications and parameter adjustments are processed locally.
4. Cookies
We use HTTP-only cookies for authentication (access tokens and refresh tokens). These cookies are essential for the service to function and cannot be disabled. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies.
5. Third-Party Services
We use Google OAuth for authentication. When you sign in through Google, their privacy policy applies to the data they collect during the authentication process.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
7. Data Security
We protect your data using industry-standard encryption for data in transit (HTTPS) and secure storage practices. Authentication tokens are stored server-side with cryptographic hashing.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may also request a copy of your data in a portable format. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@pedallab.io.
