Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PedalLab, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

PedalLab is a browser-based interactive tool for exploring and simulating guitar pedal circuits. The service provides audio simulations that approximate, but do not exactly replicate, real analog circuit behavior.

3. Accounts

You may create an account using Google for authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. PedalLab is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.

4. Purchases and Payments

Some pedal circuits require a one-time purchase to access. All purchases are final. Prices are listed in USD and may change without notice. Existing purchases are not affected by price changes.

5. Use License

Upon purchase, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the purchased pedal circuits within the PedalLab platform for personal, non-commercial use.

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the circuit models or audio algorithms from PedalLab. You may not redistribute, resell, or sublicense access to purchased content.

7. Limitation of Liability

PedalLab is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not responsible for any damage to equipment or hearing resulting from use of the audio features. Always use appropriate volume levels.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
